Breeze Airways start has been marred by flight cancellations and late-departing flights out of San Antonio and other cities.
Just 12 days after a city-backed celebration of its first departure from San Antonio International Airport, startup carrier Breeze Airways has cut in half its number of flights from the city the latest blow to efforts to improve air service.
Breeze’s three departures Monday to Oklahoma City, Tulsa and Bentonville, Ark., ended four-day a week service to the destinations, according to flight schedules and disclosures on the airline’s website. Beginning today, service drops to one flight to each destination twice a week.
