Taco Bell has revealed plans to open its first and only restaurant in Gloucestershire.
The American fast food chain submitted a planning application to Gloucester City Council on Tuesday 18 May 2021 which details plans for a Gloucester venue at the former home of Frankie and Benny’s at St Oswalds Retail Park.
And the plans give a glimpse at what Taco Bell has in store for the site, which has been vacant since Frankie and Benny’s closed in 2020 – including creating a new drive-thru which will be open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Film fans will be able to sit back, relax and enjoy the movies on LED screens set against a rolling countryside backdrop creating a sensational experience.
A full range of classic food options will also be available including gourmet hot dogs, loaded nachos, retro pic-n-mix, popcorn, candy floss and ice cream as well as range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.
