Stratford Partners Lands $16M for Colorado Springs Acquisition

Stratford Partners has acquired Lookout at Broadmoor Terrace, a 150-unit multifamily property in Colorado Springs, Colo., in an off-market transaction. The company received a $16.5 million financing package arranged by CBRE Capital Markets.
The previous owner invested more than $3 million in renovations to the 1968-built property. Improvements targeted common areas and interior lighting. Stanford plans to introduce further upgrades to the property.
Lookout at Broadmoor is a three-building property that encompasses a mix of studios, one- to three-bedroom apartments and penthouses ranging from 430 to 1,568 square feet. Amenities include a swimming pool, a clubhouse, three laundry facilities, a barbecue area and guest parking.

COLORADO SPRINGS â Exactly one year after the death of George Floyd, communities across the country are still mourning and feeling the impacts of what happened, including communities local to southern Colorado.
However, several people that KOAA News5 spoke to said despite what happened, the tragic events have helped open doors for larger conversations about inclusiveness and diversity in our area. After the Black Lives Matters, people wanted to be more inclusive and learn more, so of course they re going to come to their library to get books, videos, and periodicals, said Shirley Martinez, who works for the Pikes Peak Library District. People wanted all of those things to better understand what s happening around them and what s trending.

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. An exhibit honoring a survivor of the sinking of the USS Arizona during the attack on Pearl Harbor during World War II is open to the public again after being relocated.
The exhibit for Donald Stratton, who died last year at 97, was relocated from the Colorado Springs Airport to the East Library in the Pikes Peak Library District, located at 5550 N. Union Blvd. in Colorado Springs.
