The Bottle Shop is just a couple doors down from Ripple on Pike Street in downtown Covington near the intersection with Madison Avenue. City officials joined owners Kathleen and Matt Haws for a ribbon-cutting on Tuesday. Kathleen Haws described the new shop as small but mighty . It carries nearly 150 bottles in its 350-sq. ft. space. She said it was important that the size of the shop and the wine selection not be seen as intimidating, and that the shop offer a friendly and relaxed vibe.
