A University of Melbourne professor has launched a website where people can anonymously submit anecdotes about being “impacted” by trans women using women’s-only spaces, as if trans women didn’t already have enough to deal with.
NoConflictTheySaid is run by Dr
Holly Lawford-Smith. It offensively refers to trans women as “men” and aims to collate anonymous, unverified anecdotes from a variety of spaces such as bathrooms, women’s shelters, festivals, quotas and even dating apps.

Western Metropolitan Legislative Council member Bernie Finn appeared at an online protest on Wednesday night organised by an activist group called Reignite Democracy Australia. During a short clip played during the protest, Mr Finn claimed the recent snap lockdown in Victoria - which was triggered by a cluster of cases escaping from the Holiday Inn quarantine hotel - was certainly not about a virus .

The Victorian Greens have called on Opposition Leader Michael O'Brien to immediately cut any ties his party might have to right-wing nationalist groups.
