SUNY Empire State moves classrooms to Midtown
4 Park Ave.
SUNY Empire State College has taken pandemic closures as an opportunity to upgrade its classrooms from its Hudson Square campus to the Feil Organization’s mixed-use building at 4 Park Ave.
Despite moving to an entirely remote learning model in March 2020, the school inked a 10-year deal to take nearly 30,000 square feet across the second floor and mezzanine of the building come July.
Classes will remain online through the spring term, according to the college’s website, and students will be welcomed back to the new digs once SUNY has decided that enough vaccinations have been given and it can reopen safely, likely in the fall.
