Tyler J. East, born Jan. 24, 1991, passed away on April 5, 2021.
Tyler was a kind, warm and loving person. He had a huge heart and an old soul, with a smile and twinkle in his eyes that would light up the room. Anywhere he went, he would stand out like a sore thumb, being he was a giant, gentle giant, who loved animals and rescued many in his short life.
Tyler was a gifted athlete and was always in competition with his older brother, Cody East. Tyler played sports from the age of 10; he accomplished many titles and medals; he was very driven and had one speed â fast!
BELEN â Although heâs been one of two cats for most of his career, Eliseo Aguirreâs three children are all Eagles.
Aguirre stepped into the role of Belen High School principal in December, leaving behind 21 and a half years of working for Los Lunas Schools.

âAll three of my now adult children â my son and two daughters â graduated from Belen High School,â Aguirre said. âIâve been a part of the community even though I worked for the other district.â
Aguirreâs most recent role with LLS was principal at Century High School for 6 1/2 years.
