At times, the line up of cars waiting to enter the Massey Fairgrounds was several kilometres long as families from Massey and the surrounding area waited to have boxes of food loaded into their vehicles. Still many others came on foot, and generous residents either offered rides to the fairgrounds, or pick up and drop off for those who weren’t able to leave home. All you had to do was check on social media for those willing to pitch in.
