There was even more to like for the club earlier in the day, with key forwards Weideman (seven goals) and Brown (three goals) both impressing in Caseyâs VFL win over Box Hill. After injury-interrupted pre-seasons, coach Simon Goodwin said both men are fit to play in the AFL next weekend, leaving the Dees with a selection conundrum given the strong showing of fellow tall target Tom McDonald and solid performances from Mitch Brown and Luke Jackson against Hawthorn.
Fritsch - another Melbourne forward - will also come under consideration according to Goodwin following surgery on a broken hand, while star defender May is in contention as well after a facial injury in round four.

Melbourne forwards Sam Weideman and Ben Brown kicked 10 goals between them in the VFL as they push for senior selection.
Weideman finished with a seven-goal haul while Brown booted three majors in Casey’s 51-point win over the Box Hill Hawks on Sunday.
It’s a welcome sight for Demons fans with Weideman (leg) and Brown (knee) having injury interrupted pre-seasons.
The latter arrived from North Melbourne during the off-season and is yet to debut for his new club after undergoing knee surgery in February.
It’s gives coach Simon Goodwin a selection headache - how to fit Weideman, Brown and Tom McDonald in the same forward line.
What version of the Saints will show up? That’s the big question.
If it’s the side we saw against Essendon and Melbourne, the score line could be ugly, but if it’s the unit that dominated the second half against West Coast this game could go either way.
Despite coming off two losses, you have a fair idea of what you’ll get from Richmond and they’ll prove tough to beat as they look to earn their first win since March.
Last time they met was last year’s semi-final and the Tigers recorded a 31-point win. While the end result appears convincing, that margin could have been a lot closer if the Saints had kicked straight.

Bayley Fritsch has shown signs of becoming a prolific goal kicker, but could 2021 be the year he breaks out?
The Demon kicked four goals and took eight marks in his side’s win over Geelong on Sunday and Kane Cornes is a big fan of the youngster.
Cornes feels Fritsch could become one of the game’s star forwards this year.
“Breakout stars, when you first see them and think, he has broken out, he’s a star … It’s not out of the blue because I like his attributes, but Bayley Fritsch, that was a breakout game for mine yesterday,” he told

Fremantle overcame an early Tom Mitchell master-class and a wayward afternoon by two-time Brownlow medallist Nat Fyfe to post a 15-point win over Hawthorn in Perth.
Earlier on Sunday, Melbourne enjoyed a 25-point triumph over Geelong, while Adelaide beat the Kangaroos by 41 points.
The Dockers looked set for a comfortable win after opening up a 36-2 lead at quarter-time, but Mitchell s 18-disposal, one-goal second term flipped momentum Hawthorn s way.
