A Colorado State University music alum and trumpet player, Staff Sgt. Robert Bonner, performed in the Jan. 20 inauguration ceremony in “The President’s Own” United States Marine Band.
The band provided music for President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris’ swearing-in ceremony at the U.S. Capitol; the band performed “Hail to the Chief” to honor President Biden, in addition to accompanying Lady Gaga on the national anthem.

HENDERSON COUNTY, Texas (KLTV) - Henderson County law enforcement officers have captured the man who allegedly assaulted a deputy Saturday morning and then fled on foot.
According to a post on the Henderson County Sheriffâs Office Facebook page, Joshua Thomas Smitherman, the 28-year-old suspect, is now in custody. At this point, Smitherman has not been formally charged yet.
Earlier Saturday, the sheriffâs office asked for the publicâs help in locating Smitherman. During the brief search, authorities thought he was still in the Payne Springs area.
Joshua Smitherman assaulted a deputy early Sunday morning then fled on foot.

PAYNE SPRINGS, Texas UPDATE: The suspect is in custody at this time.
The Henderson County Sheriff’s Office is asking for help locating Joshua Smitherman after he assaulted a deputy while being detained, according to a Facebook post by the agency. Smitherman later fled the scene on foot.
He is wanted for aggravated assault against a public servant.
Smitherman was detained after the Henderson County Sheriff s office received a call about a suspicious person in the Cherokee Shores subdivision. Officers believe he is still in the Payne Springs area.
