BLOOMFIELD HILLS, Mich., Feb. 10, 2021 /PRNewswire/ Penske Automotive Group, Inc. (NYSE:PAG), a diversified international transportation services company, today announced fourth quarter and full year 2020 results. For the three months ended December 31, 2020, the company reported a 97% increase in income from continuing operations attributable to common shareholders to $200.1 million, and a 99% increase in related earnings per share to $2.49. This compares to income from continuing operations attributable to common shareholders of $101.6 million, or $1.25 per share in the prior year. Fourth quarter income from continuing operations and related earnings per share include a net benefit of $0.2 million, related to a gain on dealership sales, partially offset by a loss on debt extinguishment and U.S. and foreign tax legislation changes.
