STOW A four-story, 80-room hotel is being eyed in Hadley Bay in the town of North Harmony.
The project has been discussed for two months by the town Planning Board and, following a meeting in April, recommended the North Harmony Town Board begin a zoning change that could pave the way for the hotel’s construction in two years.
Town Supervisor Robert Yates said the project is only in the early discussion phase at this point and that nothing has been determined. The town has not yet heard from those proposing the hotel, and Yates said he would comment further once he had a chance to review more details likely coming during May’s town board meeting.

I like dogs.
When I was a kid, we always had at least one dog and sometimes more. Most of them were hunting dogs. There was Mitch, and Russie, and Oscar, and Otis, and Otto, and Hiram, and Sam, among others.

It seems fitting that Matt Gaetz apparently led federal investigators to dig into the Florida State Senate District 9 race Republican Jason Brodeur narrowly won in 2020.
District 9 which represents much of Seminole County and part of West Volusia is one of a handful of state races that involved so-called phantom candidates. One of the other races, in south Florida, has already led to an indictment of former Republican state senator Frank Artiles. The money that helped the phantom candidate in south Florida race came from the same source as the money that helped the phantom candidate in District 9, campaign records show.
