The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department released the names of three officers involved in a May 14 fatal shooting of a man who officials say pointed a gun at police.
IMPD identified the officers as Joel Cain, Patrick Scott and Marco Zaragoza. All three have been on the force for four years.
Cain, Scott and Zaragoza responded to a report of a suicidal person at the Autumn Trails Apartments complex on the city s northeast side. Officials allege the person fired a gun in the air before police arrived.

Many of you still don’t know of this superb jazz club near LAX. Well, now is the time to make that right. It is laid out artfully, jazz-cool decor, because owner Paul Solomon wanted to create an intentional space, not convert to one, and gutted the room to build it out as a jazz club, period. It’s small, but that means you are really close to the performers, playing at floor level.
