“We are lucky enough to have Dougall McLaghlan who starred as Javert in Timaru and Oamaru s production of
Les Miserables, reprising some of his roles. The show is not only singing we also have comedy and skits. It’s all very family friendly and a huge amount of fun,” she said. Sollis and choreographer Abigail Austin have been rehearsing the show with a cast of 40 for about 10 weeks. “It s lovely to see so many enthusiastic, talented and lively bodies on stage,” Sollis said. The popularity of the theatre in Waimate is due to the theatre company, she said.
