News Release - Innovative technology group Elentra grows to become first-ever Queen s University -owned corporation | Queen s Gazette

Tuesday, April 20, 2021 Kingston Today, Queen’s University announces the launch of Elentra Corp, an integrated teaching and learning platform that is transforming health sciences education. Elentra was developed by a team of software developers in the Queen’s School of Medicine’s IT department in collaboration with an international consortium of 20 medical schools. Elentra Corp is the first-ever Queen’s owned and controlled corporation. Based in Kingston, Ontario, the corporation now employs 17 people in the region.   Originally intended as tool to organize data around the stringent requirements for the Queen’s School of Medicine’s accreditation process, the Elentra platform has matured into a solution that addresses the academic needs of health sciences programs including curriculum mapping, assessment and evaluation,  competency based education (CBE) and online exam delivery.
