The Regional County Municipality of Pontiac (MRC Pontiac) has embarked on a plan to promote the use of the Ottawa River Waterway for tourism in the area and hopes the City of Pembroke will hop on board as a partner.
MRC Pontaic Warden Jane Toller and Chichester, Que. Mayor Donnie Gagnon made a presentation about the waterway at Pembroke’s combined committee meeting earlier this month.
