Sanskrit sound vibrations inspired creation

Sanskrit sound vibrations inspired creation January 8, 2021, 7:29 AM IST Sanskrit is called deva bhasha, language of gods. It is regarded as a divine language. Sanskrit letters are called akshara, imperishable. They are neither created nor destroyed. When they are pronounced, they are not created; they become manifest. According to the Bhagavata Purana, the Sanskrit letters manifested from the mouth of Brahma with divisions such as svaras, vowels, and vyanjanas, consonants, according to the pronunciation. Lockdown learnings: The Bhagwad Gita

Lockdown learnings: The Bhagwad Gita December 27, 2020, 6:54 PM IST Ami Patel Bhagwad Gita Jayanti on December 25 held special significance for me, coming as it did in the ninth month of a series of lockdowns brought on by the pandemic. My mother and I enrolled in the 90-day-long Gita Swadhdyay classes. Waking up at 5.30am everyday and sitting through the class was in itself an achievement for a person like me, with very little attention span. Swadhayay is not just a lecture but also something that you listen to, and allow it to play and settle in your mind, and then make it a part of your life. Which is what I found intellectually challenging. It was conducted by Sanskrit scholar and former physics professor Swami Suryapad from the Art of Living, who elucidated the verses and the sequence with so much head and heart.
