The mayor was joined by his deputy for policing, Baroness Beverley Hughes, along with Manchester council leader Sir Richard Leese, who leads on health for the conurbation.
Today’s update also featured Professor Kate Ardern, Wigan’s director of public health, one of the key figures involved in setting up and overseeing Greater Manchester’s localised test and trace system.
