Casey Anthony hopes for fresh start with her own investigation firm as she marks 10 years since not-guilty verdict

CASEY Anthony who was accused of killing her young daughter is hoping for a fresh start by launching her own private investigation firm a decade on from being cleared.
After a six-week trial and hours of deliberation ten years ago, Anthony was acquitted of murdering her two-year-old tot Caylee.

Her 2011 trial was dubbed the social media trial of century and became a media circus as millions tuned in to watch, with Casey was painted to be a promiscuous party girl who was not concerned about her missing toddler by the prosecution.

A Miami native, Powell has an undergraduate degree from B-CU in music education, earned a master s in fine arts in music theory from the University of Florida, and a doctoral degree in music theory from Florida State University.
He has also been certified in a variety of leadership programs, including the Millennium Leadership Institute, Executive Leadership Summit at Hampton University and the Leadership Disney Style from the Disney Institute.
$1 million donation on hold?
Perry took issue with Chrite s characterization that the two were not in alignment. If you know anything about board operations on any board, there s always give and take, he said. Disagreements are normal.
One matter in which the board and Chrite apparently didn t see eye-to-eye was a donation-naming rights offer. There is a myth going around that I turned down $1 million, Perry said. Someone wanted to name a building and they were going to give the school $1 million. That s not true.
A policy that s several years old states naming rights for a building require a minimum $5 million donation, Perry explained.
