SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - Sample the Sierra returns in 2021 and the farm-to-fork festival will be held at Bijou Community Park in South Lake Tahoe Sept. 18 from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
The 12th anniversary of the popular foodie even will feature regional cuisine, wines, spirits, beers along with artisans and live music.
Attendance will be limited to approximately half of previous years, to provide a more intimate atmosphere with ample space to sample and imbibe. Tickets are $75 for adults and $65 for under 21 and designated drivers and are available online at www.samplethesierra.com. Advance sell-outs have been the norm the past several years, making early purchases the tasteful move.

If you are still looking for activities for the busy weekend, we’ve put together a list of events happening at local wineries. Reservations or advance tickets are required for most on the list.
