SB2, to be taken up by the NH House in February and expected to pass, offers towns these provisions during the COVID-19 pandemic, but the emergency order will allow towns to make those decisions earlier. - NHPR Staff

CONCORD, NH Another five people have died related to COVID-19, according to the state of New Hampshire. The state said the fatalities included a woman and man from Belknap County, a woman from Hillsborough County, a man from Merrimack County, and a woman from Strafford County. Four of the deaths were connected to long-term care settings in the state while four were 80 years of age or older and one was 70 to 79 years of age.
