LAKE CHARLES, La. (KPLC) - In a news release Saturday, the White House said President Joe Biden will be traveling to Lake Charles and New Orleans Thursday, May 6, as part of the Getting America Back on Track Tour.
The White House says the tour is to amplify the American Jobs Plan.

BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - President Joe Biden is headed to the Bayou State, according to White House officials.
On Thursday, May 6, the President will travel to Lake Charles and New Orleans as part of the Getting America Back on Track Tour to amplify the American Jobs Plan.
The cross-country tour marks the Biden administration’s first 100 days in office and will showcase the President’s proposed infrastructure spending.
