Aldon Smith, who played high school ball in Raytown, Missouri, turned himself in on accusations of second-degree battery in connection with an incident that happened on April 17 in Chalmette, Sheriff James Pohlmann said.The Criminal Investigations Bureau issued a warrant for Smith’s arrest after the sheriff said Smith assaulted a man outside a business in the 8600 block of West Judge Perez Drive in Chalmette.Pohlmann said Smith turned himself in to St. Bernard Parish Prison shortly before 7 p.m. He was booked and released on a $25,000 bond, according to the district attorney. According to the St. Bernard Parish District Attorney s Office, Smith is accused of causing a male victim severe injuries during the altercation. Smith is scheduled to be arraigned
