JONESBORO, Ark. (KAIT) - Gov. Asa Hutchinson announced on Tuesday that Arkansas’s teachers could get vaccinated for COVID-19 as soon as Jan. 18.
But hundreds of Jonesboro-area educators got their shots a little earlier.
On Thursday, St. Bernards Healthcare vaccinated nearly 300 faculty members of the Jonesboro and Valley View school districts.

JONESBORO, Ark. (KAIT) - A new program will help patients with key appropriate healthcare in their homes during a key time, officials said Friday.
According to a media release from St. Bernards Healthcare, St. Bernards Medical Center received approval from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services for the program, called St. Bernards AcuteHealth at Home.

JONESBORO, Ark. (KAIT) - A bouncing baby girl made her first appearance early Friday at St. Bernards Healthcare in Jonesboro.
According to a post on the St. Bernards Healthcare Facebook page, Charli Lucille Deis of Jonesboro was born at 12:23 a.m. Friday, weighing six pounds and nine ounces.
The baby was the first child born in the new year at the hospital, officials there said.
