Dramatic footage has captured the moment a man was arrested after allegedly groping a seven-year-old girl while she was out shopping with her father.
The girl and her father had been scanning groceries at a Coles in Karawara, Perth, at 5.30pm on Friday.
The 59-year-old man, who is a convicted paedophile, then allegedly approached the girl before touching her inappropriately.
He allegedly slipped one hand under her jumper and another between her legs before touching and scratching her bottom, Perth Magistrates Court heard on Saturday.
A staff member allegedly shouted at the man to stop while he tried to leave before security followed him around the centre until police arrived.
