Walker Logistics wins approval for new DC | Logistics Manager

Walker Logistics has secured planning for a new 125,000 ft2 warehouse on land south of Membury Services  between junctions 14 and 15 of the M4 motorway in Berkshire. West Berkshire Council granted outline planning permission for the scheme, which will include the warehouse, ancillary office floorspace, as well as an aircraft museum building and associated access, car parking and landscaping last week. Henley Festival applies for licence - here s what is planned

Organisers of a ‘mini festival’ in Henley  have applied for drinks, music, and dance permits ahead of a new event in July. Henley Festival’s ‘Summer Fling’ will be taking place prior to the much bigger Henley Festival in September as organisers are putting on two separate events this year. Celebrity DJs Martin Kemp, Jo Whiley and Trevor Nelson are all headlining, along with support from ska band Maroon Town, Johnny Cash Converters, a tribute act with a twist, and ‘surf rockers’ the Bikini Beach band.

Council apologises for care home s failure to prevent elderly man s repeated falls

The care home reviewed Mr F’s risk of falling every month and noted in April 2019 that he had become unsteady on his feet and had issues with balance.
