But what the story did not address are the extensive efforts UWM is making to help students from low-income families. In the past decade, we’ve worked hard with our community partners on this issue. One significant difference-maker has been our M3 partnership with Milwaukee Public Schools and Milwaukee Area Technical College, which was honored during the Milwaukee Urban League Equal Opportunity Day Luncheon in 2019 for educational leadership.
