RDA issues notice to owner of illegal housing scheme

Rawalpindi : Under the direction of the Director General (DG) Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA), Metropolitan Planning and Traffic Engineering (MP&TE) Directorate RDA taking strict action against illegal housing schemes. MP&TE Directorate issued notice to the owner of illegal housing scheme namely Blue World City, Chakri Road Rawalpindi to stop illegal advertisements, ceremony, and development work.
The Director MP&TE RDA has directed the owners of above mentioned illegal housing scheme to immediately stop illegal print/electronic advertisements. He said it has come to know that you have organized an inauguration ceremony of Overseas Block at illegal scheme site and invited renowned cricketer, Shahid Khan Afridi, as chief guest to grab the attention of general public.

RAWALPINDI: Under the direction of the Director General (DG) Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA), Metropolitan Planning and Traffic Engineering (MP&TE) Directorate RDA taking strict action against illegal housing schemes.
MP&TE Directorate issued notice to the owner of illegal housing scheme namely Blue World City, Chakri Road Rawalpindi to stop illegal advertisements, ceremony, and development work. The Director MP&TE RDA has directed the owners of above mentioned illegal housing scheme to immediately stop illegal print/electronic advertisements. He said it has come to know that you have organized an inauguration ceremony of Overseas Block at illegal scheme site and invited renowned cricketer, Shahid Khan Afridi, as chief guest to grab the attention of general public. He said RDA has already taken legal action and registered multiple FIRs in the concerned police station.

Rawalpindi : Rawalpindi Development Authority has collected Rs491 million record revenue in 2020-21 financial year.
The Metropolitan Planning and Traffic Engineering (MP&TE) Directorate, Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) and Land Use and Building Control (LU&BC) Wing have collected Rs491 million against the revenue target of Rs335 million set for the fiscal year 2020-21. According to RDA spokesman, revenue amounting to Rs150 million was generated by MP&TE Directorate while LU&BC Wing collected Rs341 million during current fiscal year.
He said that the authorities concerned of RDA made hectic efforts to generate the revenue. The citizens submitted as many as 1,435 building plans for approval which is a record in the history of RDA as the department was taking strict action in accordance with the law against illegal housing schemes and illegal constructions on the directives of the RDA Director General Nadeem Ahmed Abro
