UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. Penn State and State College Borough are working together to mitigate the dangerous drinking and other impacts associated with the Feb. 27 student-created drinking event known as State Patty’s Day, which may be more dangerous this year in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Plenty of snow has come down over the last twenty four hours or so, affecting roads and walkways across town.
State College municipalities have been salting and plowing roads all day.
While they have plenty of supplies and manpower to get the job done effectively, Douglas Shontz of the borough’s communications department says that residents can keep themselves as safe as possible by exercising caution
