The U.S. Olympic swim trials move into night three of Wave II Tuesday night and former Bishop Kelley star Patrick Callan will be in the pool.
In the 200m freestyle, Callan needed to earn a top-four finish to make the finals for Team USA.
Callan finished sixth, just fifteen-hundredths of a second out of fourth place, with a time of 1:46.49.
This spring, Callan finished second in the 200 free in the Big Ten Championship, competing for Michigan.
2021 isn’t his first time at the trials. Callan first competed in the 2016 trials, one of the youngest swimmers in his event.
