LINCOLN, Neb. (Nebraska Athletics) – The Nebraska women’s golf team captured its first NCAA Regional bid since 2008, as the Huskers earned the No. 13 seed in the Columbus Regional announced on Wednesday live on GOLF Channel’s College Central coverage.
The Huskers, who punched their ticket to regionals by tying for second at the Big Ten Championship over the weekend at TPC River’s Bend in Maineville, Ohio, claimed their 12th all-time NCAA Regional appearance dating back to an NCAA West Regional bid in 1994. Nebraska will compete in three rounds at the NCAA Columbus Regional with single rounds each day beginning on Monday, May 10.

East Tennessee State basketball coach Desmond Oliver has announced the hiring of his entire coaching staff.
Patrice Days, Mark Bialkoski and Mantoris Robinson have been named assistant coaches, while Oliver named Lucas Campbell the director of basketball operations and Sunny Park the director of basketball sport performance.
âIâm very excited to finally have all of my staff on board,â Oliver said. âWhen I set out to hire this staff, I wanted to find guys that had the ability to recruit, develop and teach at the highest level. We talk about wanting our players walking into opposing teamâs arenas and looking like a Power-5 team physically. Iâm blessed to say we have a Power-5 coaching staff. We have experienced guys with the highest character who are connected and committed to player development on and off the court.â
