The pleas come after Prime Minister Gaston Browne chided St Vincent and the Grenadines and Barbados for allegedly discriminating against the carrier, after what he characterised as new stipulations that forced LIAT to suspend flights to those destinations. The Prime Minister of St Vincent and the Grenadines, Dr Ralph Gonsalves, later said the suspension was due to failings on the part of the airline and the matter could have been handled with a discussion between both heads of government.

According to Dr Justice Moses Aheto, there was no way the figures of Techiman South which is 128,018 would not affect the final results of the election. He explained that the addition of the 128,018 would have led to a runoff as per percentage computation, Nana Addo would have obtained 49.265% while Mahama would have obtained 46.76% of the valid votes cast.
