Norwich-based Hooma Comedy Club has announced its summer programme.

We all need cheering up after the last year and Hooma Comedy Club is guaranteed to get us all laughing again, with a jam-packed programme of top comics this summer.
The Norwich-based club hosts weekly comedy events and combines some of the biggest names on the national circuit with up-and-coming local talent.

Regular events take place at The Bowling House in Norwich, most Saturdays with the occasional Friday, Liberty Restaurant in Wroxham, every last Saturday of the month, and Sugar and Spice in Norwich, on every first Sunday.

The support group founder had to put up a sign at the weekend requesting no donations as she has two 20-foot long trailers full of items but it will start accepting donations from next week.

Mrs Frosdick said: It s so exciting. We are now based at a bigger site, with so much more footfall up here. Hopefully it is going to be a busy time. Everyone has been so friendly, it is so much like a little community up here.
In Ditchingham, Emmaus Norfolk & Waveney shop, which supports the homeless, is reopening after closing on March 16 last year.
Based at the All Hallows Convent, Emmaus Norfolk & Waveney is also home to 32 formerly homeless people, so the charity decided to keep the site closed to the public until the autumn to keep the residents safe.
