WEST PHILADELPHIA - A 52-year-old man is in critical condition after he was shot multiple times inside a West Philadelphia laundromat, Tuesday night. According to authorities, the shooting happened on the 5800 block of Market Street Tuesday, just after 9 p.m., inside a laundromat. When officers arrived, they found the 52-year-old man with a gunshot wound to the head and several in his leg. He was rushed to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center and placed in critical condition.

PHILADELPHIA - Six people were hospitalized Sunday morning and a 24-year-old man was killed after overnight violence across Philadelphia continued. In a first shooting, a 19-year-old Black man was shot once in the head. The incident happened on the 1000 block of West Ruscomb Street, just before 10 p.m. He was transported by private vehicle to Albert Einstein Medical Center and was listed in critical condition. The scene was held, no arrest was made and no weapon recovered. The investigation is active and ongoing with Northeast Detectives Division.

Police: Man, 20, shot in the chest and killed in Kingsessing Published  KINGSESSING - A 20-year-old man is dead after he was shot in the chest in Kingsessing. Authorities say the shooting happened inside a dwelling on the 5500 block of Belmar Street, Tuesday, around 11:45 in the morning. Responding officers found the 20-year-old man in the basement and he was suffering from a gunshot wound to the chest. The man was taken to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center where he was pronounced dead. Police said an investigation is ongoing. No weapon has been found and no arrests have been made. The investigation is active and ongoing with Northeast Detectives Division.   In a second shooting, a 37-year-old Black man was shot multiple times throughout the body, according to authorities. Bicyclist dies after being struck by car near Philadelphia Art Museum, police say Published  article PHILADELPHIA - A bicyclist who was clipped by a car and thrown from her bike while crossing Kelly Drive on Sunday morning has died, according to an update from the Philadelphia Police Department.  The unnamed woman was traveling in the bike lane near Spring Garden Street around 11 a.m. when she tried to pass two lanes of traffic and continue riding on the 2400 block of Kelly Drive, police said. While crossing the westbound lanes, police said the woman s back tire was clipped by a car and she was thrown from the bike. According to investigators, the crash caused the woman to strike the car s windshield.
