SWINDON Town legend Chris Kamara has recalled the moment he lost his team mates – on the Brunel Rooms’ revolving bar. The 62-year-old played for the Robins from 1977 to 1981 and 1985 to 1988. Since his retirement from the field, he’s worked as a club manager, pundit – and now a swing singer with his second Christmas album out now. Speaking to the BBC, he recalled the first time he went to famous Swindon nightclub the Brunel Rooms – and was stymied by the club’s revolving bar.

I had a couple of beers, went to the loo and came back and the company I was in - a couple of teammates - weren’t there.
