P.T. Barnum was born in Bethel, CT and is the brains behind the world famous Ringling Brothers Barnum & Bailey Circus. Most people in our area know at least that much. There s a lot more about the man and most of the highlights of his life came well before the circus.

Let s back up, according to the Collier County Sheriff’s Office, Rayford Smith, a 53 year old man from Glenn Allen, Virginia beat and stomped on a man for not following social distancing guidelines.
Authorities say Smith was sitting on a bench, poolside at The Willough in Naples, Florida when the unnamed victim approached. WINK reports that Smith asked the man to keep his distance, the victim left the area and later returned and was still not socially distancing.
Danbury Mayor Joe Cavo Comments on Missing City Resident
UPDATE: A second man, Ernest Price as referenced at the bottom of this article has been found. This information was confirmed by Danbury Police Chief Patrick Ridenhour this morning on the Ethan and Lou Show in a brief interview with the Chief.
On January 27, I-95 announced a Silver Alert had been issued, as police look for a local man. 57-year-old Todd Smith, pictured above, was last seen on January 16, 2021, according to the Danbury Police Department.
Thursday morning we had Danbury Mayor Joe Cavo on the Ethan and Lou Show and asked him about the case. Cavo had this to say:
Bethel police are reporting that they have arrested and charged a local women with reckless endangerment.
Late last week, 44-year-old Graciela Rojas-Amon had reportedly left her three year old unattended when the child left the home and began to wander down Grassy Plain Street in Bethel.
The child was spotted and police were called with a report that a young child was alone and walking down the street unattended, and with no shoes on.
According to newstimes.com, after making contact with the mother and the child, police determined that the mother deliberately left the child unattended, and in the time frame that the child was alone, the toddler wandered off and left the family residence.
