Share: Lululemon Athletica Inc (NASDAQ: LULU) shares traded higher by 3.2% on Friday after the company reported an aggressive rebound in sales and store traffic in the first quarter. Lululemon reported first-quarter adjusted EPS of $1.16 on revenue of $1.23 billion. Both numbers topped consensus analyst estimates of 91 cents and $1.13 billion, respectively. Revenue was up 88% from a year ago. Lululemon’s sales were up 57% compared to the same quarter in 2019, before last year’s COVID-19 pandemic. Direct-to-consumer sales were up 55% to $545.1 million. North American sales were up 82%, while international sales jumped 125%. Looking ahead, Lululemon guided for full-year adjusted EPS of between $6.73 and $6.86 and revenue of between $5.83 and $5.91.
