Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers has some sad news to pass on about a popular star of the NBC soap. Stephen Nichols, who portrays Steve Johnson on the show, recently announced on social media that his sister Penny Spiegel has died at the age of 71.
Stephen shared a beautiful photo montage video on his Instagram feed, showing pictures from Penny’s life and times, including many photos of himself with his beloved sister.
Stephen captioned the video as follows: “My dear sister, Penny – I lost my dear sister this past Thursday, Dec 10. Penny, I will always carry your courage, generosity and love in my heart, and do my best to live by your example.”
