âEveryone is chanting and screaming. Before you know it, theyâre one point up from us and then my heart just broke,â said Gabriella Centurion, an Arizona freshman.

I will remember the silence most of all. Visiting high school basketball gyms and hockey rinks in this winter of COVID-19 has been unlike anything I’ve experienced in nearly 35 years of Upper Valley media work. The sound of a raucous crowd, the loud music, the screeching shoes, slicing skates and bleating whistles were replaced by a relative quiet, the sporting arena reduced to a library missing only the person with a finger pressed to lips, requesting peace.
Redshirt senior guard Chelsea Dungee was named a Women’s Basketball Coaches Association All-American, announced today. She was one of ten named to the Coaches’ All-American Team, and the first Razorback since Delmonica DeHorney all the way back in 1991 to earn the honor.
SAN ANTONIO (AP) — The last time that Tara VanDerveer and Stanford were playing for a national championship, the Pac-12 had just 10 schools and the Cardinal were the standard
DALLAS (AP) — Toyelle Wilson was named the new women s coach at SMU on Thursday after two seasons as a Michigan assistant that followed a six-year stint at Baylor.
