Beginning next week,
The Philadelphia Show art and antiques fair returns in an online format. From April 23–30, sixty outstanding antiques dealers and fine art galleries will offer some of the best in painting, furniture, ceramics, Americana, textiles, and more. Plus, be sure to take in the special exhibition of animals in art, curated by the irrepressible Alexandra Kirtley of the Philadelphia Museum of Art. Clark returned to Virginia and taught classes in illustration at the Art Club of Richmond and was an instructor at the Richmond Training School for Kindergartners. About 1916 she and the Richmond artist Nora Houston established the Atelier. Their studio became a training ground for a generation of Virginia artists, including Theresa Pollak, who later founded the art program at the University of Richmond and the art school at Virginia Commonwealth University. Intending to revive the long-moribund eighteenth-century Academy of Sciences and Fine Arts, Clark and Houston in 1919 founded the Virginia League of Fine Arts and Handicrafts, which later merged with the Atelier and became part of the Richmond Academy of Arts. A painter primarily of portraits, landscapes, and religious scenes, Clark exhibited canvases at the Carnegie Institute, in Pittsburgh, and at Richmond’s Valentine Museum. Her oil painting
YDA concerned at alleged oxygen gas supply disruption

PESHAWAR: The Young Doctors Association (YDA) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa spokesman Dr Faisal Barakzai has asked the government to bring forward the report of the inquiry committee about the disruption of oxygen supply to the coronavirus patient at the Lady Reading Hospital.
Speaking at a news conference at Peshawar Press Club on Monday, he said it was the second incident within a few months, which was dangerous for human lives. Flanked by the YDA office-bearers, he said the third wave of Covid-19 had created fear as the increasing number of patients has ended space in the hospitals. He said the delayed action of the KP government and the health department had added to the problems of patients.

Pakistan will allow private companies to import coronavirus vaccines and has exempted the vaccines from price caps in a divisive move that health experts fear will create vast inequalities in access.
The country has been scrambling to secure vaccine supplies but so far only the Chinese-made Sinopharm treatment is being deployed. This month 500,000 doses were donated to Pakistan.
Like many other countries, Pakistan has been relying on the Gavi/World Health Organization Covax vaccine initiative, but has yet to receive any of the 17m doses it is expecting.
The cabinet granted permission for unlimited imports of coronavirus vaccines, which could be sold to customers. No price cap was set.
