When the pandemic first began, Girl Scout Cookie season got cut off in its home stretch, halting all sales much to troops’ dismay. “We had to shut down booths,” says Haleigh McGraw, the Girl Scouts of Kentucky’s Wilderness Road (GSKWR) communications and brand director. “We couldn’t be out in the public. We couldn’t go door to door.” This year, the scouts in GSKWR are ready. Cookie distribution will have a digital, contactless twist, thanks to Grubhub.

Several Ways to Get Girl Scout Cookies This Year
Due to safety and COVID-19 concerns, the days of Girl Scouts going door to door to sell their cookies is a thing of the past. The good news is that this year you have several different ways to get your Girl Scout Cookies!
Girl Scouts of Michigan Shore to Shore and Girl Scouts of the USA (GSUSA) have kicked off the 2021 Girl Scout Cookie season. This year the group will be selling in creative, socially distant, and contact-free ways to keep everyone safe and healthy.
First, the Girl Scouts will be offering a total of nine different cookie varieties this year. They include: Shortbread, Thin Mints, Caramel deLites, Peanut Butter Sandwiches, Peanut Butter Patties, Girl Scout S’mores, and Lemonades. They will also be selling a gluten-free Caramel Chocolate Chip cookie and also a new cookie called Toast-Yays.
