ROCK SPRINGS A windy afternoon that saw blowing snow didn’t slow down the Rock Springs High School (RSHS) soccer teams in their first matchup with the Green River Wolves on Tuesday.
Both the girls and boys teams for RSHS won their games against the neighboring GRHS squads, combining for a total score of 16-1.
The Tigers and Wolves played first, with Rock Springs claiming a 2-0 victory. Rock Springs’ two goals both came in the first half and the defense stopped the Wolves’ offense from finding the net in the second half. The Tigers improve to 4-2 on the season, while the Wolves fall to 1-5.
