THE VACCINE IS OFFERED TO VETERANS THEIR CAREGIVERS AND THEIR SPOUSES THE V-A HAS GIVEN VACCINES TO OVER 18 THOUSAND VETERANS AND NOW THEY WANT TO PROTECT THOSE WHO ARE AROUND THEM THE MOST TOO. PR Council honors Thomsen, Eskola for their service | Park Rapids Enterprise

Former City Administrator Betty Thomsen also admonished city staff to work better as a team. 8:00 am, Feb. 13, 2021 × Virgil Eskola was recognized Tuesday for his 30 years of service with the Park Rapids Fire Department. Behind him are City Administrator Angel Weasner and Mayor Ryan Leckner. (Robin Fish/Enterprise) The Park Rapids City Council on Tuesday recognized two public servants for their work. Firefighter Virgil Eskola received a certificate of achievement for his 30 years of service to the city. According to the certificate, Eskola has served on the Park Rapids Fire Department since Feb. 1, 1991. Mayor Ryan Leckner also presented a key to the city to Betty Thomsen, commending her for outstanding community service.
