A shooting outside of Peter Luger Steakhouse on Thursday evening sent customers running for cover and left two outdoor diners wounded, according to the NYPD 90th Precinct.
The incident occurred around 9:53 p.m. after an argument broke out between two diners at the historic steakhouse. It’s not clear at this time what sparked the disagreement, but authorities say the dispute continued outside of the South Williamsburg restaurant. The suspect, a 24-year-old man, was reportedly walking away from the famed establishment which debuted outdoor dining and takeout for the time in its nearly 130-years of business when he turned around and fired several rounds in the direction of another man.

Pittsburgh Milliones Closed After Fourth Person Tests Positive For COVID-19

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – Pittsburgh Milliones 6-12 is closed on Friday after it was learned that a fourth person at the school has tested positive for COVID-19.
According to Pittsburgh Public Schools, the person was last in the building on April 28.
The district says that the school will reopen on Monday, May 3, in time for the return of students that are in categories 2 and 1.
“Today, we received confirmation that a fourth member of our Pittsburgh Milliones school community has tested positive for COVID-19,” Principal Graf said in a parent notification on Thursday. “Per the Pennsylvania Department of Health guidelines, the building will be closed tomorrow, Friday, April 30, for disinfecting and contact tracing.”
