How many wins is Aaron Rodgers worth compared to potential 2021 replacement Jordan Love? Wins above replacement isn t really a popular metric in the NFL advanced statistics realm, and a lack of pro-level tape on Love complicates matters.
What we do know is the Green Bay Packers won the NFC North by a five-game margin in 2020. Only the Kansas City Chiefs cruised to a more lopsided divisional crown. Green Bay s huge cushion came thanks in part to the 8-8 Chicago Bears, 7-9 Minnesota Vikings and 5-11 Detroit Lions getting outscored by a combined 185 points and all posting negative DVOA (defense-adjusted value over average) figures at Football Outsiders.

Trade rumors are starting to percolate around Falcons stud receiver Julio Jones. And when an image of Jones wearing a Cowboys shirt surfaced on the internet, it put all sorts of folks on notice. But now, that’s hardly the craziest part of the story.
On Monday’s episode of FS1’s Undisputed featuring Shannon Sharpe and Skip Bayless, Sharpe took to the phone lines to clear the air with Jones by dialing him up WHILE ON THE AIR … and it does not seem likely Jones knew he was on the air until the very end of the “interview.”

Ravens, Raiders and Colts were all interested in Julio before draft.

However, Allbright is one of the most credible NFL insiders out there, so it appears as though Indianapolis was interested at least at one point in time earlier this offseason.

George Paton has never been shy about the importance of the quarterback position. The first time he spoke to Broncos Country, he mentioned that he’d look under every stone in his efforts to solve the problem that’s haunted Denver since Peyton Manning rode off into the sunset like John Elway before him: a two-time Super Bowl champion.
“The quarterback is the most important position in sports. If you don’t have stability at quarterback, you’re going to have a hard time sustaining winning. So, very important, but I don’t think the focus should be taken off the defense just because you want a franchise quarterback.
My favorite random schedule quirk is that the Bears and Vikings are playing on December 20th for the second consecutive year. Sure, it’s a different day of the week. And a different week on the NFL calendar. But it’s still a trip.
