He also stressed that even though the cases have come down one should not be ignorant about it. Speaking to Deccan Herald, R Ashoka said that people need to maintain distance and wear masks at all times otherwise the lockdown is inevitable. “New Covid cases may be coming down but that shouldn’t lead to ignorance. People should wear masks, maintain social distance and get the vaccine. Or else, a lockdown will be inevitable in Karnataka,” the minister said.
