To prevent desperate hospital hunts,
BBMP wants to allow walk-ins at
covid care centres where doctors can examine patients, refer treatment based on condition
Triaging of covid-19 patients, which was so far happening through tele-consultation by doctors at different war rooms of the
Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike, will soon be extended even to the Covid Care Centres (
CCC). The civic body is also considering the option of patients walking in to these facilities instead of running from one hospital to the other in search of beds. The move is expected to help a large number of helpless covid-19 patients and their families.

Green Line, which connects
