WALNUT RIDGE, Ark. (KAIT) -The city of Walnut Ridge reminded residents Tuesday there is a location for limbs and tree debris only to be brought to after the May 4 storm.
According to a Facebook post, that location is the old Morgan building, 168 North Beacon Road, at the airport.
City officials said this is the only site individuals and non-city cleanup crews may bring tree debris to.
Storm damage clean-up is moving along, but unfortunately it is going to be a very slow process, taking considerable time.Posted by City of Walnut Ridge Arkansas on Tuesday, May 11, 2021
A NEIGHBOUR has described the desperate battle to save a much-loved mum-of-three from a Sedgley house fire as ladders were put up and people screamed at her to jump. Passerby Conna Hincks, 21, was one of the men who tried to save Michelle Howie using a ladder after spotting her near an upstairs window as the blaze ripped through the home in Beacon Road, on Saturday afternoon, May 8. In a Facebook comment he said: Tried to get her out of the window as much as I could but there was to much smoke there for me to do anymore than I could.
