Becker Morgan Group announced the following recent employee promotions.
Jonathan Richard, PE, was promoted to senior associate. A civil engineer, Richard has been with the firm for 16 years. He has completed numerous successful projects ranging across commercial, healthcare and institutional sectors. He takes a vested interest in developing younger staff members and serves on the firm’s Blue Zone committee responsible for recruitment, retention and company culture.
Chris Weeks of Rehoboth Beach was promoted to associate. Weeks joined Becker Morgan Group in 2007 and leads the firm’s business development efforts across its four offices. He serves on the Beebe Healthcare board of directors and is actively involved in the Rehoboth Beach-Dewey Beach Chamber of Commerce.

Milford residents can soon voice their opinion about the city’s plan to borrow up to $20 million to construct a new police station.
Pending the results of this upcoming referendum, residents could see increased property taxes in exchange for a new building that promises to keep up with Milford’s growing population and police department.
Here are a few things residents might want to know before going to vote.
When and where can residents vote?
On Tuesday, Jan. 26, registered voters can go to the Public Works building at 180 Vickers Drive in the Milford Business Park off Airport Road.

Becker Morgan Group announced the growth of its civil engineering department with the addition of two new civil designers, Andrew Sabine and Kevin Goldner.
The firm s civil engineering department was established in 1993 and has become a pillar of Becker Morgan Group s fully integrated team. New hires Sabine and Goldner will allow Becker Morgan Group to expand its civil engineering capabilities with a continued focus on responsive client service.
Sabine is a graduate of the University of Delaware, where he earned a bachelor s degree in civil engineering. During his time at UD, he was a member of Delta Tau Delta, where he enjoyed supporting fundraising initiatives for the Wounded Warrior Project. Since joining the firm, he has contributed to several projects, including a future acute healthcare facility in Georgetown.
