The new customer contact centre is expected to open in April
Brightstar has announced a new customer contact centre in Crewe as the distributor continues with its £50 million investment in the UK.
The new hub will house over 120 customer service agents and sets out to enhance the customer service experience and help underpin growth for the next decade.
This centre is located at Orbit Development’s Gawsworth House at Crewe Business Park.
It is expected to be open from April with fit-out works starting immediately on-site ahead of the move.
This included a move to a new technology enabled Advanced Fulfilment Centre which consolidated Crewe as the European hub of the business.
100 new jobs at Galway technology security firm

A technology security company in Galway has announced plans to hire more than 100 new staff.
HID Global is to open a Centre of Excellence at Mervue Business Park in Galway later this year.
The positions will be filled over a three-year period and will bring its total number of employees in the city to 300.

The firm specialises in identity technology, manufacturing a range of secure ID cards.
It had a production facility in Connemara for a number of years, before relocating to Galway in 2019.
